Superstar Rajinikanth paid a heartfelt tribute to his friend and co-star Dwarakish, who passed away on April 16. Dwarakish, aged 81, died of cardiac arrest in his Bengaluru residence, sending shockwaves across the industry.

Rajinikanth has shared screen space with Dwarakish in several films during the early days of his career. After Rajinikanth caught his first break in Tamil as a lead actor, he also took up roles in other language films, including Kannada.
Rajinikanth played the second lead in several movies, and Dwarakesh was part of most of his Kannada movies. The duo shared space in blockbuster movies like Galate Samsara, Garjanai, Maathu Tappada Maga, and Sahodarara Savaal.
