At the box office, both Coolie and War 2 have been underperforming; however, Coolie is ahead of War 2. Now, in the worldwide box office collection, Coolie has beaten War 2, as both films crossed the Rs 300 crore mark.

As per Sacnilk, War 2 has earned a little under $8 million in the international market (Rs. 69 crore). This makes the worldwide collection a respectable Rs. 307 crore after seven days. Meanwhile, War 2's domestic collection now stands at Rs. 199 crore net ( Rs. 238 crore gross). But now, due to a consistent drop on weekdays, War 2 seems super dead at the box office.
On the other hand, Rajinikanth's Coolie's worldwide gross is now at Rs. 432 crore after seven days. It is now looking to cross Rs. 450 crore, which it should do in its second weekend. Meanwhile, Coolie's Rs. 432 crore global collection is now higher than Brahmastra Part One (Rs. 431 crore) and Kantara (Rs. 416 crore). In the domestic box office collection, Coolie earned Rs 222.6 crore after 8 days.

War 2 has been receiving mixed responses due to its poor script writing and direction. The spy action thriller film directed by Ayan Mukerji, starring Hrithik Roshan, Jr. NTR, and Kiara Advani, revolves around Kabir (Roshan), a former RAW agent who goes rogue and becomes a threat to national security.
