Rajinikanth's Jailer team completes 100 days of shoot; drops Muthuvel Pandian making teaser

The shoot for Superstar Rajinikanth's Jailer is happening in full swing and the latest we hear is that the team has completed 100 days of shoot. The team has been shooting across different locations in the country and one of the members of the production team has confirmed that they have completed 100 days of shoot. In the meantime, fans are keeping their fingers crossed hoping that the team will drop an update soon on the big occasion.

Sun NXT had recently dropped the making video of Muthuvel Pandian. Rajinikanth plays a jail warden in the film and the first-look poster had the actor walking around the premise in style. The BTS video released on his birthday, too, showed the actor's character gearing up for his work in the film. The video gives a glimpse of Rajinikanth listening to the instructions of the film's director Nelson Dilipkumar and shooting for the film. The video also shows Rajinikanth drawing out a huge machete before leaving home. We hear that the shoot will be wrapped up by May.

The film has an ensemble cast which includes Kannada Superstar Shiva Rajkumar Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal, Telugu actor Sunil and Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff, Tamanaah, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, Redin Kingsley and Vinayakan to name a few. While Jailer marks Shiva Rajkumar's debut in Tamil, the film marks the reunion of Jackie Shroff and Rajinikanth after three decades. Impressed by the team's dedication, Jackie Shroff had recently gifted the film's director, Nelson Dilipkumar, a scooter. Nelson later thanked the actor and flaunted the vehicle on his social media handle.

Jailer is said to be an action comedy with Anirudh Ravichander scoring music for the film. While Vijay Karthik Kannan has handled the cinematography, R Nirmal is in charge of the editing of the film. Jailer is bankrolled by Sun Pictures and it looks like the film will likely hit screens for Deepavali.
