Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Bheed gets a release date, find out

Bheed, directed by Anubhav Sinha and starring Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar, is due to be released on November 18, 2022. Sinha's Benaras Media Works and T-Series' Bhushan Kumar are producing the film together. After 2020's Thappad and Anek, which will be released on May 27, Bheed is their third collaboration.

T-Series' official Twitter account released the release date announcement on Thursday. "Anubhav Sinha's socio-political drama #Bheed is releasing on November 18th, 2022. #Bheed is a joint venture of #BhushanKumar's #TSeries and #BenarasMediaWorks, starring #RajkumarRao and #BhumiPednekar."

This is Rao and Pednekar's first collaboration with Sinha, who were previously seen together in Badhaai Do. In November of last year, Bheed was shot across Lucknow.

Earlier, while talking about being a part of Bheed, Rao had told PTI that he was looking forward to the collaboration. The actor called Sinha one of the most talented filmmakers. They became excellent friends after working together, and it has a unique meaning for us.

While after wrapping up Bheed, the National Award-winning actor told Bollywood Life that it's a film of which he is quite proud. As a maker, he holds Sinha in high regard. Rao revealed that the filmmaker recounts some amazing stories beautifully, in his opinion. The actor called Bheed "a social drama that's one of a kind."

On casting Pednekar, Sinha had earlier said in a statement that he couldn't have wished for a more perfect ensemble. These are actors who not only dazzle on screen but also elevate the written word to produce cinematic magic. The director is fortunate to be working with this team.

Pednekar said that Sinha shares her belief that movies have the ability to change people's beliefs. As artists, it is their job to tell such stories. The same goes for Bhushan Kumar, who encourages his writers, directors, and actors to take risks, as if he were the visionary producer he is. This is an intriguing subject, and Pednekar has been looking forward to this film's journey.
