Just a day after Raju Srivastava's younger brother Deepu refuted reports of him being 'brain dead' and that the 'doctors had given up on him', Bollywood Life reported in its latest article on the comedian's current health condition that the star performer is, indeed, showing signs of improvement.
Raju Srivastava, according to Bollywood Life, is being given a stead flow of oxygen by his team of doctors at AIIMS as 'a lack of it' was one of the reasons for his health deteroriating. It was also reported in the article that his blood pressure is now under control.
However, despite his improving health, the doctors have not allowed his wife Shikha Srivastava to see him yet in the ICU and that has gotten her "worried". This decision is a direct result of the physicians not wanting to not expose him to the threat of getting infections of any kind that would, ultimately, affect his health.
For the uninitiated, comedian Raju Srivastava was admitted to New Delhi's prestigious AIIMS hospital on August 10 after he suffered a heart attack. As per report by The Times of India, he had complained of chest pain, before fainting while working out at the gym. Soon after, his trainer rushed him to the hospital and there he remains to this day.
On Friday, Deepu Srivastava, Raju's younger brother, released a video, thanking the comedian's fans for their prayers and said that he is 'sure' that the 'blessings of his fans' will be heard. He also stated that the comedian will be out of the hospital anytime soon.
"He will come back soon, winning the battle and entertain everyone with his comedy," said Deepu Srivastava in the video.
He then went on to explain that his brother is receiving top-notch treatment and has some of the finest doctors working towards his recovery.
Deepu Srivastava urged the fans of his comedian brother not to fall for rumours and requested them not to pay attention to what they read. Instead, 'wish for his well-being', Deepu said.
