After the successful collaboration with Netflix India for Guns & Gulaabs, Raj and DK have once again joined hands with the streaming giant for another exciting project. The OTT platform is all set to introduce its first action-fantasy series - Rakt Bramhand - The Bloody Kingdom. For this ambitious project, Raj & DK partnered with director Rahi Anil Barve, who is known for his exceptional storytelling skills, and long-time collaborator Sita R Menon, under their production company, D2R Films.

The series promises to be an edgy and gripping narrative that will take us to the backdrop of a fantastical kingdom with spectacular visuals and bloody action. The makers have now finally made an official announcement that the filming of the series has commenced with the first poster.  

Sharing the poster that has a picture of a bloody crown, Netflix wrote in the caption - "We’ve got BIGGGGGG news that’ll stir your blood! We’re pumped to announce our first ever action-fantasy series "

Although the makers have mentioned that the cast of the show will be announced soon, it has been reported that for this much-anticipated project, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Aditya Roy Kapur are coming together on the screens for the first time. As per the buzz, the actors have been in discussions for the project with Raj & DK for quite some time and they have been finalized now. 

Interestingly, this will be the first time where Aditya will be collaborating with Raj & DK, and this will be Samantha's 3rd collaboration with the director duo. Earlier they have worked together for The Family Man and are also working on their upcoming show, Citadel: Honey Bunny. More details about the series still remain under wraps. 

Speaking about the project, Raj & DK share, “This is uncharted territory which makes it all the more thrilling for us! Our goal is to develop a fictional world that is both original and reminiscent of the fantastical tales we have heard in our childhood."
