Raksha Bandhan song Tere Saath Hoon Main: Akshay Kumar's emotional track is out to make you cry a river

Akshay Kumar starrer Raksha Bandhan is gearing up to hit the theatres on August 11. Ahead of the film's release, makers have dropped an emotional track titled Tere Saath Hoon Main. The Himesh Reshammiya composed track is crooned by Nihal Tauro, while Irshad Kamil has penned the beautiful lyrics.

The song begins with Akshay consoling his sister that he will get her married to a man soon and that God will help him in the process. Moving on, the video sees him preparing for the anticipated wedding. 

Furthermore, the montage showcases Akshay performing a wedding ritual called 'haldi' with his sister at her wedding and later helping her out with makeup on the day. Moving towards the mandap, the Bollywood star holds his sister in his arms to take her to the mandap as she trips over while walking in heavy attire. 

The brother-sister duo can be seen being emotional while performing a few rituals prior to the main event. The hero can be seen shedding a few tears along with her other three sisters at her eldest's wedding.

Tere Saath Hoon Main is sure to make you cry with the soulful lyrics and emotional video.

Akshay shared the sentimental song on his official Instagram handle with a special caption that reads, "Siblings never walk through life alone as they have a brother or sister, holding their hand. The social drama also stars Bhumi Pednekar and has Sahejmeen Kaur, Deepika Khanna, Sadia Khateeb and Smrithi Srikanth in key roles among others.

Backed by Zee Studios, Colour Yellow Productions and Cape of Good Films, Raksha Bandhan is slated to hit cinemas on August 11.

Meanwhile, Akshay's highly anticipated film is also set to have a huge clash with Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer Laal Singh Chaddha due to the same release date.
