Raktabeej trailer: Amitabh Bachchan wishes the team on social media

The Puja battle of the Bengali films is on. After Amitabh Bachchan wished Prosenjit Chatterjee for his next release, Srijit Mukherji’s Dawshon Awbotaar, it was Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy’s thriller Raktabeej that got a social media nod from Big B. The trailer of the film Raktabeej was dropped on Saturday and created a buzz. It was trending on X within 24 hours. Bollywood trade analysts like Taran Adarsh and Komal Nahata praised the trailer. Now, Big B Amitabh Bachchan also wished for the film.

The fans are elated watching the gorgeous trailer. They are eagerly waiting to see Victor Banerjee as the president. Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee shot a part of the film in the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Also, Mimi Chakraborty and Abir Chatterjee play two cops. Big B shared the trailer and wrote ‘Best Wishes.’ He also mentioned that the film is being released during Puja. 

Mimi Chakraborty shared the tweet and wrote, “Coming from the legend himself. I am out of words. Thank you.” Shiboprosad Mukherjee also shared the screenshot and said that he got Amitabh’s blessing for the second time. Amitabh praised the film Belaseshe previously.

The film, based on the 2014 Khagragarh Blast, will be released on October 19.
