Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi’s Acharya to release on Amazon Prime Video on THIS date?

Acharya, starring Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi, now has an OTT release date. According to Mirchi 9, the film will be available on Amazon Prime Video on May 27, 2022.

According to the report, Amazon Prime Video was willing to pay a high amount for a pure digital distribution of the picture but the production opted against it.

The movie's fortunes collapsed after a strong start at the box office. Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan's Acharya failed as soon as the negative reviews and word-of-mouth. The makers anticipated the father-son team to be a classic film pairing.

Filmmaker Koratala Siva has been criticized for leaving such a negative impression. Fans have criticized the filmmaker for his weak narrative and poor delivery. The whole Neelaambari track has also been criticized.

As per industry experts, Acharya was constantly postponed because to COVID-19, putting the story quite out of date in the public's mind.

Chiranjeevi will now appear in the forthcoming action film God Father, directed by Mohan Raja. The film is an official remake of the Malayalam hit Lucifer.

Ram Charan was last seen in RRR, which was a box office success. We will now see him in RC15 alongside Kiara Advani. RC15 is the working title of S. Shankar's next Telugu-language political drama film.

Pooja Hegde was cast alongside Charan as Neelambari in Acharya. She had three flops in a row with Acharya, followed by Radhe Shyam and Beast. The actress will now appear in the upcoming film Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali starring Salman Khan, Aayush Sharma, Zaheer Iqbal and Shehnaaz Gill.

Acharya is a Telugu-language drama film directed by Koratala Siva. The movie also stars Sonu Sood, Nassar, Jishu Sengupta and Vennela Kishore in pivotal roles. The film was released in theatres on April 29, 2022.
