Ram Charan-Buchi Babu film: This star heroine to play the female lead

Ram Charan is busy shooting for his new film, Game Changer, directed by the acclaimed Shankar. It is a known fact that Ram Charan has also committed to staring in a sports drama directed by Buchi Babu Sana of Uppena fame. The pre-production for this ambitious project has commenced, and the casting is on as of now.

We have come to know that none other than Sai Pallavi has signed the dotted line, and very soon an announcement will be made regarding the same. The news is that director Buchi Babu met Sai Pallavi a few days back in Chennai and narrated the script, which the latter liked and okayed the film.

Sometime back, there was news that none other than Janhvi Kapoor was approached to play the female lead in this film. Not many know that Jahnvi Kapoor was supposed to romance Ram Charan in RRR, but it did not happen, and the makers locked Alia Bhatt.

Well, after approaching quite a few stars, Buchi Babu has finally locked Sai Pallavi for the Ram Charan starrer, as per the news. The film will feature a coastal backdrop and will be a big-budget production amounting to Rs 300 crore. 

Apart from Sai Pallavi, we at OTTplay had already reported that yesteryear actress Laya has also been roped in for a significant role in the film. A few days ago, the director himself revealed on the Bigg Boss Telugu show that AR Rahman will compose the music for this film, which is a sports drama.
