Making a masterpiece like RRR is no easy task. For one reason, Ram Charan was confident in his ability to pull off the big period drama, SS Rajamouli. With the Baahubali franchise, the filmmaker has proven to be one of the most dependable directors when it comes to constructing a huge production. With his latest film, the director raises the stakes by telling the story of two 19th-century revolutionaries who fought against the British Raj.

Charan told Mid Day that when one is dealing with an artist of that calibre, one is bombarded with ideas. So one might think if Rajamouli were able to pull off his vision. However, everything came together as a result of one man's vision.

Charan, who plays Alluri Sitarama Raju in RRR, told the tabloid that they succumbed to Rajamouli's vision.

This is his second collaboration with the filmmaker after Magadheera (2009). Charan went on to say that as a director, Rajamouli has matured overtime to give his imaginary characters a more realistic feel. He's gotten more sophisticated in his writing and portrayal and grasped the market. This is one of Charan's flicks in which he gave a quiet performance.

Because the tale centres so much around Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem's friendship and shared beliefs, Charan and Jr. NTR's chemistry was crucial to the success of the film. The fan clubs of the two South Stars have a history of feuding. Charan shared that there had to be a true bond between them for it to translate on screen, and there was true affection between them.

Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt have lengthy cameos in RRR, which was intended to be a pan-India film. After his initial collaboration with Bhatt, Charan was blown away. Since Highway [2014], he has been a fan of her work. The actor became a fan of Alia after seeing Raazi [2018]. After working with her, Charan realized why so many people adore her.

The Rangasthalam actor revealed that there were instances when he didn't quite get his Telugu lines right, but Alia did. He called her a meticulous professional.

RRR is running successfully in theatres across the globe.
