Telugu superstar Ram Charan is basking in the success of RRR. His movie made history after it bagged the Oscars earlier this month. After the historic win, he returned to India amid huge fanfare. And he was greeted by the who's who of India. And one of the sweet gestures came from India's dance icon Prabhu Deva. Prabhu and his team of dancers performed the hook step of Naatu Naatu much to the delight of everyone. And the multifaceted choreographer tweeted the performance video to congratulate the team RRR.
Ram Charan was among those who were delighted to see Prabhu perform Naatu Naatu steps. And the RRR star tweeted, "Can’t thank you all enough for such a warm welcome. Our Grand master @PDdancing sir thank you for the sweet surprise. Feels great to be back at shoot #RC15."
It seems soon after he returned to India, he resumed shooting for director Shankar's next, which has been titled RC15. The film's production was put on hold to allow Ram Charan to tour around Los Angeles to promote RRR ahead of the Oscars. All the promotions paid off when the film's dance number Naatu Naatu won the Oscars in the best original song.
Written and directed by SS Rajamouli, RRR also stars Jr NTR in the lead role. The camaraderie between Jr NTR and Ram Charan was one of the key reasons for the film's massive success worldwide.
The Oscar campaign of RRR kept Rajamouli, Tarak and Charan away from their next projects. With their Oscar campaign concluded on a successful note, they will resume their other projects. While Charan is busy with RC15, Tarak will soon join the sets of NTR 30, which stars Bollywood actor Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead. And Rajamouli will start the production of his next movie with Mahesh Babu in the lead.
