Ram Gopal Varma announced release dates for 'Vyooham' and its sequel, 'Shapadham’

Director Ram Gopal Varma is currently busy with the production of a political drama film Vyooham that is inspired by the life of the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Latest from the film is that he has announced that a sequel will also be made to the film. 

In his announcement, RGV revealed that Vyooham will be released in theatres on November 10. Its sequel, Shapadham, will be released on January 25, 2024. Both the films are produced by Dasari Kiran Kumar.

Ram Gopal Varma revealed that he wants to bring on celluloid the intriguing story of YS Jagan, who emerged as a popular figure amid conspiracies and challenges.

Vyooham will depict the events that unfolded within Jagan Mohan Reddy's family following the demise of the late AP CM YS Rajasekhar, Jagan's father, and the legal battles he faced. It is anticipated that Shapadham will be about how Jagan overcame adversities to become Chief Minister.

Vyooham’s teaser released

The Vyooham teaser that was released earlier gave an intriguing first glimpse of the film that generated several reactions from viewers. Interestingly, the teaser concludes with a powerful dialogue delivered by Jagan, played by Ajmal Amir, who declares his dissimilarity to Chandrababu Naidu. This closing statement from the teaser is expected to resonate with viewers and shape the political discourse.
