Akshay Kumar’s Ram Setu has seen low Box Office collections in the extended week one. By day 13, the movie has managed to cross Rs. 50-crore mark and come close to Rs. 70 crores. However, the film has now seen a downfall and is earning nearly Rs. 2 crores only.
Ram Setu has minted only Rs. 64.15 crores in the past 13 days since its release, according to a report on Box Office India. The movie has performed decent considering how most of the films are working today but it is still not up to the mark.
Here’s the Box Office Collection of the film so far:
Tuesday – Rs. 15 crores
Wednesday – Rs. 11 crores
Thursday – Rs. 8.25 crores
Friday – Rs. 6 crores
Saturday – Rs. 7.25 crores
Sunday – Rs. 7.75 crores
Monday – Rs. 2.85 crores
Tuesday – Rs. 2.40 crores
Wednesday – Rs. 1.90 crores
Thursday – Rs. 1.75 crores
Total – Rs. 64.15 crores
Akshay’s film has worked well in a few regions. Like Ajay Devgn-Sidharth Malhotra’s Thank God, this movie has worked the best only during Diwali period. The one upper hand that Ram Setu had is that it worked the best on Sunday in some regions.
Rajasthan and Central India is where the movie worked. However, South India and East Punjab have completely rejected the film.
Ram Setu has some competition in Katrina Kaif’s Phone Bhoot but if the numbers do not drop and rather pick up over the weekend, Akshay’s film can work at the Box Office for a long time. This film will face tough competition from Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 2 on November 18 but till then, if the movie picks up, Ram Setu could become a hit.
