The weekend has not been kind to Ram Setu, as the film witnessed its lowest box office collections yet during the course of the weekend. On Sunday, day 6 of its box office run, the film raked in Rs 7.25 crores.

The first weekend of the film’s theatrical run was disappointing to say the least, as there was the expectation that the numbers would pick up during the same. The film had a Diwali release on October 25, witnessing a stellar opening day with Rs 15.25 crores. Ram Setu had witnessed the second highest opening for a Hindi film in 2022. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva had had the biggest opening day out of the Bollywood releases this year.

During the first weekend of its run, Ram Setu saw a total earnings of Rs 14.55 crores. On Saturday, the film minted Rs 7.30 crores and on Sunday, Rs 7.25 crores. On Sunday, the film witnessed its lowest collections yet. The total collections of the film stand at Rs 56 crores. The day by day breakup of the Ram Setu’s box office collections are as follows:

Day 1 Rs 15.25 crores

Day 2 Rs 11.40 crores

Day 3 Rs 8.75 crores

Day 4 Rs 6.05 crores

Day 5 Rs 7.30 crores

Day 6 Rs 7.25 crores

Ram Setu follows the story of an archeologist(Akshay Kumar), an atheist turned believer, who sets off on an adventure to trace the location of the mythical bridge Ram Setu, the existence of which is largely debated upon. Apart from Akshay, the film also features Jacqueline Fernandez, Nushrratt Bharuccha and Satya Dev in prominent roles. The action adventure film was written and directed by Abhishek Sharma, and produced by Aruna Bhatia, Vikram Malhotra, Subaskaran, Mahaveer Jain and Aashish Singh.

Ram Setu will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video after its theatrical run.
