Ram Setu new poster: Akshay Kumar brings his adventure to the big screen on THIS festive release date

Akshay Kumar is back with yet another film in 2022, and this time he has embarked on an interesting adventure. On Monday, the actor took to his social media pages and shared the brand-new poster of his upcoming film, Ram Setu. In the poster, Akshay, with a salt-and-pepper look, is seen giving an intense look. The poster also features the actor going on an adventure, from the caves to an underwater expedition.

Akshay captioned his post while sharing, "जुड़िए हमारे साथ और बनिए इस रोमांचक सफ़र का हिस्सा… राम सेतु की दुनिया भर में पहली झलक, आज दोपहर 12 बजे. (Join us and be a part of this exciting journey… First glimpse of Ram Setu across the world, today at 12 noon). Are you all set? #RamSetu. October 25th. Only In Theatres worldwide."

In Ram Setu, the protagonist (Akshay Kumar) is an archaeologist who has been hired to determine whether or not the bridge actually exists. According to the epic Ramayana, Ram Setu is a bridge constructed by the deity Rama's army of Vanara to enter Lanka and rescue his wife Sita, who was kidnapped by Lanka's Rakshasa king Ravana, from the 7th century BCE to the 3rd century CE.

The film also features Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha as the female leads. Satyadev Kancharana, Shubham Jaykar, and Jeniffer Piccinato feature in supporting roles.

Abhishek Sharma has directed Ram Setu, which is produced by Aruna Bhatia and Vikram Malhotra under their home banners Cape of Good Films and Abundantia Entertainment, along with Amazon Prime Video and Lyca Productions.

Ram Setu is set to have a theatrical release during the Diwali weekend and is hitting the big screens on October 25, 2022. Soon after its theatrical run, the adventure-based film will premiere on Amazon Prime Video as its OTT release.
