On the auspicious occasion of Sri Rama Navami, the prestigious Chitralayam Studios announced a new film. Titled Ramam, the film is being produced by Venu Donepudi on a huge scale. This is his first-ever Pan-India project and will have several noted stars in key roles.
A very young and popular hero will be seen playing a key role in this film, which is a mythological drama. His name and first look from the film will be revealed soon as per the makes. On the other hand, if you look at the poster, a man riding a horse is showcased and the caption reads Rise of Akira. This itself gives an idea that the makers are attempting something different and magnanimous for the first time under their banner.

Lokamanya, a young new talent who has assisted several noted directors in the past, has turned director with this film. The makers have revealed the motion poster of the film, and it creates an instant impact. Ramam is about the ideologies of Rama Rajya that are being set in the present era. How a young man with such standards fights the present-day Adharma is the entire story of the film.
The makers have also announced that the pre-production of the film is currently on, and the film will soon go on floors in June 2025. Speaking at the launch, producer Venu Donepudi says that ever since he heard the script, he has been itching to take the project on the floors, as such concepts come to a producer rarely and have a universal appeal.
The director Lokamanya says that such a story with a mythological backdrop and present-day crime has not been tried before to date in Telugu cinema. This makes the film quite special in the first place and is about the story of an Indian hero who has not been highlighted to date in any Telugu film before. As the film has a universal appeal, Ramam will also have a few Hindi and Tamil actors in key roles. More details of the film will be revealed soon. Stay tuned for more updates.
