While speaking to the media, according to Times of India, the lead actor Rajesh Nataranga discussed the film and said how there was a lot of pressure because they were making an adaptation of a very famous story and there were expectations from the audience. However, the actor said it was a wonderful experience with the cast and how he was blown away by everyone's performances. He is now glad and delighted that the film will reach a wider audience through the OTT platform.
His co-star Sonu Gowda told the daily that the film is a ‘stepping stone’ in his career and that he learned a lot on the sets of the film. “I am grateful to K Shivarudraiah sir for believing in me to portray such a complicated role. I really hope that the film receives a lot of love from viewers,” he added. The other cast members too expressed their happiness and excitement for the film’s digital release on Voot Select.
The film is set against the rustic setting of a rural community.
