It has become imperative for every alternate Ravi Teja film to have multiple leading ladies, be it Touch Chesi Chudu, Disco Raja, Khiladi and now Ramarao on Duty. Ramarao on Duty has Ravi Teja paired alongside Divyansha Kaushik and Rajisha Vijayan in the lead and is written, directed by Sarath Mandava. While we can't confirm whether this trend is merely coincidental or intentional, what we can say for sure is that the first song from Ramarao on Duty, Bulbul Tarang, is impressing music lovers.
Bulbul Tarang, sung by Sid Sriram, is lyricised by Rakendu Mouli. Sam CS is scoring the music for the action entertainer. Filmed entirely in Spain, the song is a dream sequence featuring Ravi Teja and Rajisha Vijayan, where the former depicts why he's completely smitten by the girl, expressing his love with various metaphors. Ravi Teja channelises the inner romantic in him to good effect in the song that's easy and soothing on the ears.
'Thoole giragiramani burre itta.. Thelinde nelavantaa adugula ventaa..Bulbul tarang bul bul tarang.. Lokam ooge gunde... Labdabbu maani nee perai moge,' the number starts on a catchy note with several cheesy yet impacting lines that Sid Sriram has done complete justice to. The use of Spanish locals donning the traditional Telugu look lends an interesting dimension to the song's visuals.
The film, based on true incidents, is set to hit theatres on June 17. Venu Thottempudi is making his comeback to Telugu cinema with the actioner that also features Nasser, Sr Naresh, Pavitra Lokesh, John Vijay, Chaitanya Krishna, Tanikella Bharani, Rahul Rama Krishna, Eerojullo Sree, Madhu Sudan Rao, Surekha Vani in important roles. Cinematographed by Sathyan Sooryan ISC, Praveen KL, the film is bankrolled by Sudhakar Cherukuri under SLV Cinemas in collaboration with RT Team Works.
