Ramarao on Duty: Ravi Teja starrer to hit theatres in April, will premiere on this OTT platform after its release

Ravi Teja, whose last release Khiladi underperformed at the box office, is gearing up for Ramarao on Duty next. If all goes well, the film is set to hit theatres in the latter half of April (April 15/April 21). Divyasha Kaushik, Rajisha Vijayan play the female leads in the action entertainer where Venu Thottempudi, Nasser, Naresh, Pavitra Lokesh, John Vijay also essay crucial roles. The film is written and directed by Sarath Mandava.

Ramarao on Duty is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under SLV Cinemas in collaboration with RT Teamworks. The film is more or less complete and the team is looking forward to wrapping a couple of songs shortly. Earlier during the weekend, the makers also confirmed that the action thriller's teaser will be unveiled on March 1, commemorating Shivaratri.

As per reports, the post-theatrical streaming rights of Ramarao on Duty have been bagged by SonyLIV. The film may have its global OTT premiere in third or fourth week of May. Pellam Oorelithe actor Venu Thottempudi is returning to Telugu cinema with Ramarao on Duty. Other key actors in the film include Chaitanya Krishna, Tanikella Bharani, Rahul Rama Krishna, Eerojullo Sree, Madhu Sudan Rao, Surekha Vani, to name a few.

Sam CS is composing the music for the film, with Sathyan Sooryan ISC cranking the camera. Praveen KL is the editor while Sahi Suresh is the art director. Ramarao on Duty is apparently based on true incidents. The makers of the film, SLV Cinemas, also have a release this weekend, Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu.
