Athidhi and Murari actor Mahesh Babu’s character is said to embark on a thrilling global mission to retrieve the legendary Sanjeevani Booti, the mystical herb known to bring the dead back to life. Rajamouli is reportedly crafting a visually spectacular narrative around this mythological concept.

Though this storyline hasn't been officially confirmed, the speculation is spreading rapidly. Rajamouli is known for blending history and fiction, as seen in his Oscar-winning RRR, where he brought legendary freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju into a fictionalised action epic.

Madhavan in talks for SSMB29

If the Sanjeevani Booti quest forms the film’s core, as rumored, SSMB29 could be another groundbreaking cinematic experience. Adding to the excitement, actors like R. Madhavan and Prithviraj Sukumaran are said to be part of the cast in key roles. The music is composed by the legendary MM Keeravani, known for his work in Baahubali and RRR.

Interestingly, Priyanka Chopra Jonas is also rumoured to play a pivotal role in the film, which is being produced by KL Narayana.
