Ramzan Muhammed managed to grab attention with his stylish dance steps in Rifle Club despite Aashiq Abu’s film featuring an ensemble cast. The actor is also part of Kunchacko Boban’s latest film Officer on Duty, which is becoming a talking point among Malayalam cinephiles. Ramzan Muhammed on Mammootty's response to Yakshi scenes in Bramayugam
In a recent interview with Reporter Live, Ramzan Muhammed spoke about designing the much-talked-about Yakshi scenes in Bramayugam. Rahul Sadasivan’s folk horror thriller starred Mammootty in the lead role, along with Arjun Ashokan and Sidharth Bharathan.
The film starts with the Yakshi scene with Manikandan and Arjun Ashokan crossing paths with that of the supernatural entity. “Right from the moment when Yakshi emerges from the tree, to Arjun Ashokan’s character escaping while his friend goes with Yakshi were designed by us.”
Not just the initial scenes, the interval block of Bramayugam also featured the Yakshi with Mammootty. “The moments between Mammootty and Yakshi were all choreographed by us. And the last chattan was also designed by us,” he explained.
The interviewer then asked him, if the lead hero Mammootty was aware that Ramzan Muhammed had worked behind the scenes.
Ramzan Muhammed then recounted his meeting with Mammootty during an AMMA show. When he informed the megastar that he had worked on Bramayugam, Mammootty, responded with “I know”. Ramzan Muhammed further explained that is probably how Mammootty acknowledges and appreciates efforts.
Heaping praise on the Malayalam megastar, Ramzan Muhammed also said that Mammootty is very up-to-date about everything.
