Rana Daggubati on working with uncle Venkatesh: Did Rana Naidu with him so we can revisit the characters over-and-over

Rana Daggubati will work with his uncle Venkatesh for the first time in their upcoming series, Rana Naidu. The actor spoke about his experience working with his uncle on the film. He claimed that Rana Naidu provides them with an opportunity to go back and visit their characters.

At the trailer launch of their Netflix show, Rana spoke about working with his uncle Venkatesh. He knew that he wanted to do it at some point of time but did not want to risk it by doing something cliched. He wanted a cool role and something they could revisit ‘over-and-over.’

“I couldn’t have asked for anything better than Rana Naidu and with these fine filmmakers, I’m really happy to do this,” Rana said at the event. Venkatesh was also a part of the event. He also spoke about working with his nephew.

Interestingly, Rana and Venkatesh play father-son in Rana Naidu. Sushant Singh plays Rana’s brother and Venkatesh’s second son in the movie.

The series revolves around Rana Daggubati’s character, Rana Naidu. Venkatesh plays Naga while Sushant plays Tej Naidu.

Surveen Chawla is also a part of the project. She plays Sushant’s wife, Naina Naidu, on the show. The two had previously appeared together in Hate Story 2 but as enemies.

The show also features Suchitra Pillai, Gaurav Chopra, Abhishek Banerjee and Ashish Vidyarthi in pivotal roles. The Suparn Verma and Karan Anshuman directorial is scheduled to start streaming on the OTT platform from March 10, 2023.
