Rana Daggubati has launched the third season of his popular show No. 1 Yaari, with its latest episode featuring Rakul Preet Singh and Lakshmi Manchu.

Telugu streaming platform Aha recently released a promo video from the show that had the trio engaging in pleasant banter. Rana also suggested changing the name of his show, based on the camaraderie between Rakul and Lakshmi.

The actor is heard telling Rakul and Lakshmi that he would change the name to RaLa, since they are also the initials of the BFF’s names. Flattered by the suggestion, the actresses put a condition in front of the actor.

Rana had earlier invited the team of the superhit Telugu film Jathi Ratnalu, Navin Polishetty, Rahul Ramkrishna and Priyadarshi Pulikonda, for the first episode of the show. Nagarjuna, Nani, Naga Chaitanya, Sai Pallavi, Nithiin, Saiyami Kher, Ritu Varma, Sekhar Kammula, Tharun Bhascker and Vishwak Sen also featured as guests in the current season.

Telugu actors like Samantha Akkineni, Ram Charan and Vijay Deverakonda have also been part of the popular comedy TV show previously.

Yaari No 1 is hosted in other languages too. Salim Merchant and Anushka Manchanda host the Hindi version of the show, while Swwapnil Joshi is the anchor for the Marathi version. Shiva Rajkumar was the host for the Kannada show.

However, Rana’s No. 1 Yaari is the only version which has had three seasons. Salim and Anushka’s show completed two, while the Marathi and Kannada versions had just one season each. No. 1 Yaari was previously hosted by Viu.
