Thiruveer, basking high on the success of his horror thriller Masooda, is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film titled Pareshan. The film is touted to be a rustic entertainer helmed by Rupak Ronaldson, best known for directing Kobbari Matta earlier. The entertainer is bankrolled by Siddharth Rallapalli under Waltair productions. Pareshan’s shoot was wrapped up recently.
The team of Pareshan has now received a huge boost with the presence of Rana Daggubati, who has agreed to present the film under Suresh Productions. A new video, offering a glimpse of the film’s ambience and also confirming the collaboration, was unveiled by the makers today. The video has a group of friends, parents of the protagonists fighting over a samosa at a small-time bar.
The glimpse confirms that the story is set in a small village in Telangana and revolves around a group of friends who land in a mess while triggered by silly events and thereby inviting unnecessary confusion. Pavani Karanam is cast as the leading lady while Bunny Abhiran, Sai Prasanna, Arjun Krishna, Buddera Khan, Ravi, Raju Bedigala, Shruthi Raayan play crucial roles too.
Anji Babu Valgman, Muralidhar Goud, Padma, Vasantha, Surabhi Raghava, Shivaram and Sai Kiran Yadav essay other important roles in the film. Vasu Pendam cranks the camera for the comedy while Yashwanth Nag from the Chowrasta band scores the music. Harishankar is the editor. The release date of the film, currently in its post production stages, will be announced shortly.
Other notable crew that’s part of the film include the art director Sripal, lyricist Chandramouli Akkala. Sunil is the additional cinematographer for the project. Rana Daggubati, who was last seen in Netflix’s controversial show Rana Naidu alongside his uncle Venkatesh, is also backing a Telugu web show for ZEE5 titled Maya Bazaar, directed by debutante Gauthami Challagulla.
