Abhishek Banerjee, who has recently won fans' hearts with his performance in Stolen, is gearing up for the release of Rana Naidu Season 2. The Netflix show releases on June 13. The new season is going to be darker as the family drama will deal with new threats. Ahead of the release, Abhishek, who will reprise his Jaffa role, revealed that there will be new shades to his character.
Abhishek Banerjee, who will reprise the role of Jaffa, said that his character will highlight new shades. Talking to Zoom, Abhishek said that he is looking forward to the entire family dynamics. "It's a very deep-rooted and grey family, more like a family of greys and I love that. Karan and Suparn's (directors Karan Anshuman and Suparn Verma) style of storytelling is very cool. I'm looking forward to that coolness. I'm looking forward to how audience will accept my character," he said.
Revealing what fans can expect from his character in the new season, Banerjee said, "It's going to be the first project where you'll see shades of romance. It's quirky and interesting. Jaffa is in love this season."

Talking about his upcoming projects, Abhishek told Zoom that he is doing the most exciting script of his life. He has shot one movie at Kumbh, and called it a guerrilla shooting. "Bharatbala is making it titled Mahasangam with AR Rahman's music... Another one is Baaghi Bechare with Pratik Gandhi. It's a well-written film," he said.
