After making headlines for his powerful performance in Animal, Ranbir is busy shooting for Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana. The film also stars Sai Pallavi. They will play the roles of Ram and Sita. According to the latest reports, Ranbir is set to take on a double role in this mythological epic.
As per a report from Peeping Moon, the actor will portray both Lord Ram and Parshuram.
“In the Ramayana, Parshuram had a conflict with Ram after Shiva’s bow, Pinaka, was broken. He challenges Ram to bend Vishnu’s bow, and upon witnessing Ram succeed, he acknowledges him as an incarnation of Vishnu and retreats to his penance. Although Parshuram's role in the epic is brief, it holds significant importance, and the filmmakers have ensured it reflects that. Ranbir will have a completely distinct and unrecognizable look as Parshuram,” a source told the portal.
Meanwhile, he also has Love & War. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film also stars Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.
On the other hand, Kareena's recent film The Buckingham Murders has been receiving love from fans as well as critics. Hansal Mehta's directorial was released on September 13 and will be available on OTT soon.
