Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt’s Brahmastra trailer to be out on THIS date

The trailer release date for Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s upcoming movie Brahmastra has been revealed. Director Ayan Mukerji revealed the trailer release date while making another important announcement. While revealing Amitabh Bachchan’s character poster, Ayan also made the big announcement.

Brahmastra is a three-part series. The first part, Brahmastra – Part One: Shiva, is scheduled to release in theatres on September 9. The movie will be available in 2D, 3D and Imax 3D.

Made on a budget of over Rs. 300 crores, Brahmastra has been in the making since 2018. The film has been shot in Bulgaria, London, New York, Edinburgh and Varanasi.

Based on Indian mythology and folktales, Brahmastra has a twist of modern setting. The fantasy film universe is known as Astraverse.

Ranbir Kapoor, who plays the lead role of Shiva, is expected to be a part of the trilogy in one way or another. Alia plays the role of his lover Isha in the franchise.

Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in the role of Guru Arvind while Mouni Roy plays the lead antagonist named Damyanti. Telugu actor Nagarjuna, who is also in the film in a pivotal role, is seen as Ajay Vashish. Shah Rukh Khan will also make a cameo in the film as a scientist.

The movie is expected to feature Divyendu and Dimple Kapadia in pivotal roles too. While he plays Kartikeya, she will be seen in the role of Parul.
