Ranbir Kapoor fans reminded of his special moment with Rishi Kapoor ahead of Animal’s Papa Meri Jaan release

The makers of Ranbir Kapoor-Rashmika Mandanna’s Animal had recently announced that the third song from their film, Papa Meri Jaan, will be out tomorrow. The announcement poster featured Ranbir Kapoor and Animal Kapoor. However, Ranbir’s fans were instantly reminded of his bond with his real father, Rishi Kapoor.

The poster shared by the makers saw an injured Anil Kapoor hold Ranbir by his shoulder. Ranbir looked in a distance, all in pain, in the announcement poster.

How it reminded fans of Rishi Kapoor

There is a photo of Rishi holding Ranbir’s shoulder on the internet. This was during the time when Rishi was undergoing surgery to treat his cancer. The photo was taken in US, when they both had their backs to the camera. Rishi held Ranbir by his shoulder in the picture. Unfortunately, Rishi Kapoor breathed his last on April 30, 2020.

About Papa Meri Jaan

Papa Meri Jaan is the third song the makers will release from Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal. Like the title suggests, it will explore the bond between Ranbir and Anil as son-father. The first two tracks released were Hua Main and Satranga Re. Both the songs saw Ranbir and Rashmika’s love story.

Animal also stars Bobby Deol as the main antagonist and Triptii Dimri in an undisclosed role. Shakti Kapoor, Prem Chopra, Suresh Oberoi, Ravi Gupta, Babloo Prithiveeraj, Siddhant Karnick, Saurabh Sachdeva, Maganti Srinath, Raghav Binani, Upendra Limaye, Mathew Varghese, and Indira Krishnan in supporting roles. The film, which is Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s second Bollywood film after Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh, will release in theatres on December 1, 2023. The movie will clash at the Box Office with Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur.
