Ranbir Kapoor talked about how hard it was for him to learn the monologue for Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar and how it was to work with director Luv Ranjan.

He stated that it was an entirely fresh experience for all of them because Luv works quite differently from others. They had to summon their inner superheroes and attack those five pages of monologues with all of their might because they used to get the script just a few hours before the scene.

Ranbir is currently promoting Tu Jhooti Main Makkaar, a movie in which Shraddha Kapoor and he play the lead roles. The cast of the movie, including both the actors and Anubhav Singh Bassi, made an appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show.

When discussing how to learn monologue, RK added Luv's dialogues are melodic in tone, rhythm, and musicality. He dislikes pauses and the sound of breathing between shots. Even a straightforward conversation makes them feel as though they are watching a frantic action scene.

The actor said, in reference to his love of movies, that the magic of movies has surrounded him since he was a child and has shaped him as an actor.

Rahul Mody and Luv Ranjan co-wrote the romantic comedy Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. In their debut movie together, Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor star, along with Anubhav Singh Bassi, Dimple Kapadia, and Boney Kapoor in significant supporting roles. Luv Productions and T-Series Films are the ones who produced it.

Pritam is the film's music composer. Amitabh Bhattacharya is responsible for all of the lyrics.

Production on the movie started in January 2021 after it was announced in December 2019. The movie was extensively filmed in Mauritius, Spain, Delhi, and Mumbai. The movie Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar will be released in theatres on March 8, 2023, which falls around the Holi holiday.
