Ranbir Kapoor spills the beans about Animal and why the film shook him up

Ranbir Kapoor recently discussed his upcoming film, Animal, while still receiving high praise for his work in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the director of Kabir Singh, has teamed up with the actor for the film. On December 31, 2022, the first glimpse was unveiled, and everyone was awestruck by Ranbir's intense and rugged look. Ranbir recently highlighted the movie and revealed it "shook him up".

Ranbir mentioned that his character in Animal is an "alpha" and that it contains grey areas while speaking to PTI. He added that people don't expect him to do something like this because it's unexplored area for him. Animal, according to Ranbir, is entirely outside of his comfort zone. Said he, "As an actor, such challenges are important as it really shook me up. It made me work hard, and realise how inadequate I’m and how much I needed to work to reach a certain level."

The Tamasha actor reportedly has 30 days of filming remaining to do. Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol all have significant parts in Animal. On August 11, the crime drama is slated for release in theatres.

Ranbir's Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, which was released yesterday, has been met with a resounding response from the audience. The film also stars significant roles for Shraddha Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, Boney Kapoor, and Anubhav Singh Bassi. It was Ranbir and Shraddha's first time working together, and the audience is adoring their new on-screen connection. It is directed by Luv Ranjan.
