Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal’s release POSTPONED? Here’s what we know

Actor Ranbir Kapoor’s latest released film on the silver screen was ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’, which had Shraddha Kapoor as his co-star. The film got extremely encouraging response at the box office. Immediately after this film, all the eyes got trained on his next film ‘Animal’. ver since the time the film’s makers made the announcement about the film, it started making news for all the right reasons. Firstly, the film will see the mint-fresh pairing of Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, who, both, are cinegoers’ heartthrobs in their own way.

The film was all set to be released on August 11 this year. But, as per a report in Box Office Worldwide, the film’s release has now been postponed to December 1 this year. The said news report mentioned that, ‘The reason behind this postponement is unknown but it is speculated that it might be because of some unfinished post-production work’.

As far as August 11 this year is concerned, the day will see the mega clash between two major films in the form of the Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer ‘Gadar 2’ and the Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi starrer ‘OMG 2’. Speaking of ‘OMG 2’, Akshay Kumar had posted the film’s poster that depicted him as Lord Shiva on his social media accounts. One may recall that, even in the previous posters of the film, Akshay was seen in the role of Lord Shiva. If the buzz is to be believed, then, ‘OMG 2’ reportedly discusses the Indian educational system and focuses on the training of adults.

And as far as ‘Gadar 2’ is concerned, it’s the sequel of the nineties’ smash hit ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’. Just like the first part, ‘Gadar 2’ also stars Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel in the leading roles. Besides them, the film will also star Utkarsh Sharma, Simrat Kaur, Luv Sinha and Manish Wadhwa in important roles.
