Aamir Khan is gearing up for the release of Sitaare Zameen Par. Directed by R.S. Prasanna, the film is produced by Aamir Khan, who also plays a key role. Ahead of the June 20 theatrical release, a report claimed that Aamir, Rajkumar Hirani, and Abhijit Joshi are in talks for an exciting plot for PK 2.
As per a Pinkvilla report, Aamir Khan, Rajkumar Hirani, and Abhijit Joshi are in talks for an exciting plot for PK 2, and Ranbir Kapoor is likely to join the franchise.
“There’s a definite idea for PK 2, which Hirani, Abhijat, and Aamir are excited about, and they will revisit it after the Dadasaheb Phalke. It’s a plot that organically leads itself to a sequel, with Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, but the boat is far away from sailing. Ranbir too is aware of the idea and is excited to play an alien,” the source added.
It tells the story of an alien, PK (Aamir Khan), who comes to Earth and loses his remote control, which is essential for returning home. He tries to find his faraway place while navigating the complexities of human behaviour, beliefs, and social customs. PK is played by Aamir Khan, and Jaggu, a TV reporter who becomes his friend, is played by Anushka Sharma. Other key cast members include Sushant Singh Rajput as Sarfaraz, Jaggu's love interest, and Sanjay Dutt and Boman Irani in supporting roles.
