Looks like all is not well with Ranbir Kapoor! Not only has he received a summon from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for allegedly being involved in the Mahadev online betting scam, but also for not keeping well physically.

What’s the news?

In the latest development, the 41-year-old popular actor has skipped ED summons today and instead paid a quick visit to a clinic in Mumbai city. Arriving at the clinic today, Ranbir can be seen wearing a light purple shirt with light blue jeans. If you observe Ranbir’s shirt, he has given a message to his fans. The message on the shirt reads, ‘So Low’.

Clearly, Ranbir is walking on a difficult terrain these days.

What is the case all about?

According to the lawyer representing the Enforcement Directorate, Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has sought a one-week extension to comply with the summon issued by the ED in relation to the Mahadev betting app case. Ranbir was expected to appear before the investigative agency today.

Speaking to news agency ANI today, ED lawyer Saurabh Pandey said, "Mahadev app is a betting portal and it is a case of money laundering. Raipur’s ED office started the probe and four people were arrested. As the probe proceeded further, the names of many people came to light, and we issued summons to a few people. Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor's name has also come up and so we issued summons under Section 50 of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). He didn't appear today but through email, he requested one week’s time. We will see what needs to be done further."

Actors Shraddha Kapoor, Huma Qureshi, Tiger Shroff, and Sunny Leone; singers Neha Kakkar, and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan; and comedian Kapil Sharma are also allegedly involved in the case.

Only time will tell who the culprit behind the case is.
