Ever since Animal trailer has released, people have not been able to get over many things. The latest obsession is the song Duniya Jala Denge, which is a part of the movie. Netizens have figured out that this track could actually be inspired from an iconic Punjabi track. There are clashing views on the same.

Is Duniya Jala Denge inspired?

The song Duniya Jala Denge, crooned by B Praak, could actually be inspired from a Punjabi track. The original is Ki Lene E Mitran To. The ghazal is called Punjabi Tappe and is crooned by the legendary Jagjit Singh.

What is the track about?

Duniya Jala Denge is a son’s dedication to his father. The trailer focused on how the son turned into an ‘animal’ who was ready to attack when the one from his pack (his father) was injured. In this movie, Ranbir plays the role of the son and Anil Kapoor is seen as his father, Balbir Singh.

About Animal

The trailer of Animal suggests that the focus of the film would be on the father-son relationship and how that affected the son\s other relations. From distancing himself from his lover Geetanjali, played by Rashmika Mandanna, to facing the villain head-on (Bobby Deol), the character shows various graphs, all leading to his dedication towards his father. Apart from Duniya Jala Denge, Papa Meri Jaan is a song dedicated to the bond.

Animal is Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s second Hindi film after Shahid Kapoor-Kiara Advani’s Kabir Singh (which was inspired from his own movie, Arjun Reddy). Animal will release in theatres on December 1. The film will be clashing with Vicky Kaushal-Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur, which is the story of the army officer Sam Manekshaw.
