Rangabali: Popular media heads upset with Comedian Satya's spoof comedy imitating them, demand the makers to scrap the interview

Naga Shaurya is going through a string of flops and has to score a hit at any cost to stay in the game. For this reason, he has chosen a comedy drama titled Rangabali. The film is all set to release on July 7, 2023 across the Telugu states and the pre-release event of the film was held yesterday night in Hyderabad on a grand note.

Well, the film's promotions have caught on quite well and particularly, a promotional interview done by comedian Satya has not gone well with many. Going into details, Satya, who plays a key role in the film, imitated four key media persons in the Telugu film industry as he interviewed the star cast in their avatars. 

The promo of the same went viral in no time and created a very good buzz for the film. But two out of the five people whom Satya imitated, the MD of a popular channel and lady journalist got offended and have demanded the makers not to air the interview otherwise they would take legal action. 

As per the update, the makers have scrapped the interview as of now but the promo has made enough noise that the maker achieved what they intended to. Thanks to this controversy this film has created a good buzz and speaking at the pre-release event, Naga Shaurya says that after a very long time, he is quite confident about a film of his and it would do extremely well.

Pawan Basamasetti is making his directorial debut with Rangabali. Sudhakar Cherukuri is bankrolling this mass entertainer. The family drama has Yukti Thareja as the leading lady. Popular comedian Satya will be seen in a crucial role in this Sudhakar Cherukuri production. Pawan CH has composed the music.
