Rani Mukerji has garnered the praise and love of a lifetime by playing a strong and fearless mother in Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway. On the other hand, the trailer has gathered enormous attention all over the country and even in foreign nations. In a recent press conference, held in Mumbai, the ace actor shared her personal experience of working as an actor in the upcoming film.

Karan Johar hosted the latest press conference at YRF Studios, Andheri, Mumbai on Friday. When the filmmaker asked her dear friend an actor about her thoughts on the real-life incident that happened with a real-life mother.

"I saw the trailer and I was like what if someday somebody just comes and take my kids away from my home because of our tradition, our inherent culture, our parenting instinct? I think this is your best performance to date. I have to say it here. It is your best performance to date and I hope the world notices what I have and I am sure the world will notice on 17th of March. That moment when it is decided in court that you will only be able to meet your children when they will turn 18. The way you act in that moment it's like it took me back to a moment in a YRF film called Mashaal. When Dilip Kumar bangs on the taxi and says stop. He wants to stop the car because his wife is dying. That time that scene had given me goose-splash. And the second time in my cinematic memory where I got goose splash is when I saw your reaction where literally you were sliding. Your feet were sliding on the floor when they were trying to hold you back. What was the prep or did you just go with your gut at that moment taking in that internalising the circumstances?" Karan asked while passing his dear friend.

After the long question, Rani smiled, said thanks and further replied, "I think for me Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway is a very very personal film in that sense. Because, I think every parent, every mother, every father, and every person who has a mother will connect with the story. It hits you in your gut." She further added, "I have not performed but lived every scene in the film."

Backed under the banner of Emmay Entertainment by Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani, the court-room drama movie is written by Sameer Satija, Ashima Chibber and Rahul Handa, while it also features Anirban Bhattacharya, Jim Sarbh and Neena Gupta in key roles.

Directed by Ashima Chibber, Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway is slated to release on March 17.
