Rani Mukerji is an actor with a big fan base across the country. The star has crossed 25 years in the industry as an actor and is currently waiting for the release of Bunty Aur Babli 2, where she will be reprising her role from the 2005 movie, Bunty Aur Babli

In a recent interview with IndiaToday.in, the actor talked about various aspects of her life and career. One of the things she revealed is about how Kamal Haasan’s words to her helped her doubts over her height. 

She said that she never thought she was the heroine kind, as she was not tall and did not have the voice for a heroine. She said used to talk to stalwarts with whom she had the opportunity to work with.

“One of them was Mr Kamal Haasan and actors like him told me that you can’t measure your success by the height of your physical standing, but by the heights of how much you can grow professionally.” revealed Mukerji. 

Mukerji and Kamal Haasan worked together in the 2000 movie Hey Ram. Written and directed by Haasan, the movie is now a Tamil classic. 

Mukerji is now waiting for the release of the crime comedy Bunty Aur Babli 2, co-starring Saif Ali Khan. The sequel will be released in theatres on November 19.

Mukherji is also working on Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway, in which she will play a mother fighting a country and its systems for her children.
