Ranjish Hi Sahi teaser: Tahir Raj Bhasin, Amala Paul, Amrita Puri’s relationship drama to take you on a retro ride

Voot Select dropped the teaser of a new romantic drama titled Ranjish Hi Sahi. The Tahir Raj Bhasin, Amala Paul, Amrita Puri starrer show follows a love story of a 70’s Bollywood director and an eccentric actress. 

The latest video shows Tahir as the director, who can be seen struggling to write a story. “Every story has a beginning and an ending. Some parts of it are best forgotten,” says the actor’s character. He further mentions to a person that he has no story and he has betrayed his wife, which has been played by Amrita. Amala looks gorgeous in a retro look and can be seen romancing the Chhichhore actor. 

Written and directed by Pushpdeep Bhardwaj, the upcoming series has been created by Mahesh Bhatt. 

The lead actor shared the latest teaser on Instagram and captioned, Meet Shankar. Take a peak into backstage Bollywood in the 70’s as he walks the tight rope of a dramatic love story with #RanjishHiSahi, coming soon on @vootselect (sic).”

The Aadai actress also took the video on Instagram and wrote, “It’s time to go back to the 70s Bollywood and witness a dramatic love story with #RanjishHiSahi, coming soon on @VootSelect. (sic).”

The forthcoming show marks the second collaboration of Amrita with Bhatt, while Tahir and Amala are working with the Bollywood filmmaker for the first time. 

The Mardaani actor also has a few more projects in his kitty including Looop Lapeta opposite Taapsee Pannu and Netflix’s upcoming crime-thriller web series Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein alongside Shweta Tripathi and Anchal Singh.

Ranjish Hi Sahi, which also has Zarina Wahab in a pivotal role, will be released on Voot Select soon to stream online.
