Ranojoy Bishnu alerts about a gang duping aspiring actors

Ranojoy Bishnu cautioned new actors. Through a video, he alerted about a gang duping people using the actor’s photo. He further informed that the miscreants are falsely claiming to offer a break in acting by placing the aspirants in serials. A production house in Tollywood took a handsome amount of money from some people also.

Ranojoy shed light on the matter by posting a video on social media on Wednesday. He said, “I recently came to know that my lookset photo is being shown and people are told that I am starting a new serial. Some actors were made to pay to act in that serial. Ranojoy came to know that one person had to pay Rs 60 lakh and another paid Rs 13 lakh.” Ranojoy made it clear that he was not acting in any such serial. He also asked his fans to stay away from any fraud. Ranojoy said in the video, “Invest wisely. Come to acting if you have talent and are well-informed. Please do not pay money to act.”

In an interview with Anandabazar Online, Ranojoy said, “I can’t imagine how a person gave Rs 60 lakhs. I don't know who else is victimised. I am trying to caution them as much as I can.” However, Ranojoy doesn't want to go through any legal complications right now. “I want everyone to get back the money. If needed, I will complain to the artist forum and the police,” he added.

There are many such complaints of fraud in Tollywood. The newcomers become the target. In such cases, a known name is used. Ranojoy's name is the new addition to the list. He is now acting in the serial Kon Gopone Mon Bheseche. Several of his films are waiting to be released.
