Ranveer Singh and Team India run towards victory in 83's latest poster

Just like fans, even the makers are pretty impatient for the release of 83. After sharing the exciting teaser for the film, Ranveer Singh and the team of 83 took to their social media pages and shared a new poster featuring the whole 83 team. In the poster, the actor and his co-stars are seen running towards victory as they finally win India's first Cricket World Cup in the year 1983.

While sharing the poster, Ranveer quoted Kapil Dev, whom he plays onscreen. Ranveer even credited the whole team of 83 while sharing the poster. Interestingly, the Tamil version of the film is presented by Kamal Haasan, the Telugu version by Nagarjuna Akkineni, the Kannada version by Kiccha Sudeepa, and the Malayalam version by Prithviraj Sukumaran.

The film also features Deepika Padukone, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiiva, Saqib Saleem, Harrdy Sandhu, Ammy Virk, Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani, Nishant Dahiya, and Sahil Khattar.

DP also serves as a co-producer of the film and stars as Ranveer's onscreen wife, aka Kapil Dev's wife, Romi Dev. 83, directed by Kabir Khan and co-written by Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan. The producers are Kabir, Vishnuvardhan Induri, Deepika, and Sajid Nadiadwala.

83 was set for a theatrical release in April 2020, but owing to the coronavirus pandemic, the film has been postponed indefinitely. Finally, the film will hit the silver screens on December 24, 2021, during the Christmas weekend. Ahead of that, the makers will be unveiling the much-awaited trailer for 83 on November 30, 2021.
