On March 6, Ranveer Singh took to his Instagram account to announce that the Dhurandhar: The Revenge trailer would be released on March 7 at 11:01 AM. Meanwhile, Dhurandhar: The Revenge will be released in cinemas worldwide on March 19, 2026 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada & Malayalam.

Originally, Yash's Toxic was scheduled for a theatrical release on March 19, creating an upcoming box office clash with Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar 2 (The Revenge). However, Toxic makers recently confirmed that Yash's film has been postponed and will hit cinemas on June 4, 2026. Thus, both films will have solo releases. 

What to expect from Dhurandhar: The Revenge?

Dhurandhar: The Revenge is a spy-thriller sequel directed by Aditya Dhar. The film continues the story of undercover Indian agent Hamza Ali Mazari, played by Ranveer Singh, who remains deeply embedded in Pakistan. 

As the narrative unfolds in Karachi’s dangerous underworld, Hamza finds himself in a tense face-off with ISI officer Major Iqbal, portrayed by Arjun Rampal, while also dealing with the personal stakes involving his wife Yalina, played by Sara Arjun.

The sequel picks up immediately after the 2025 film, focusing on high-stakes espionage and revenge. Hamza (Ranveer Singh) must survive against corrupt officials after the death of Rehman Dakait (Akshaye Khanna) and rival gangs while continuing to dismantle terrorist groups threatening India. The film delves deeper into Hamza's emotional and personal life, where his wife's political family creates complications.
