According to News 18, Aditya Dhar, who is known for Uri: The Surgical Strike, said in an interview that he is happy with the way his next film, Dhurandhar is shaping up. The team is currently busy shooting for the same. He said, "Yes, we are currently filming it. We will try to release it by the end of this year. I am happy with the outcome; it’s shaping up really well." He also gushed over Ranveer's performance in the film and said that the actor has outdone himself. Dhar added, "Ranveer Singh has outdone himself in the film. Watch out."
