Ranveer Singh in Don 3! Farhan Akhtar drops a stylish announcement video, with the star taking over the titular role

The wait is finally over! Farhan Akhtar has officially announced Ranveer Singh as the new "Don" in his forthcoming film Don 3. The third instalment of the hit franchise features the star taking over the baton from Shah Rukh Khan, who starred in the first two parts. The makers of Don 3 took to their social media pages and shared an announcement video featuring Ranveer bringing on the swag of Don.

The video has the star facing the city lights while emulating the menacing persona that the character of Don shows. Moreover, this time too, "11 Mulkon Ki Police" is searching for the stylish gangster, and the chase continues with Ranveer being on the run and switching on his criminal mind.

The video has been captioned, with the whole team of Don 3 being tagged, including filmmaker duo Pushkar and Gayatri of Vikram Vedha fame.

The makers have yet to announce the female lead and the other cast members of Don 3.

The new depiction of this larger-than-life figure is one of the most anticipated action franchises of 2025, and Ranveer is poised to step into the role with his captivating personality, indisputable talent, and passion for delivering outstanding performances.
