Aditya Chopra, the producer of Ranveer Singh's next film, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, appears to be wagering big on the project. He not only chose the Divyang Thakkar-directed comedy to kick off Yash Raj Films' 50th-anniversary festivities, but he also wanted to immortalise the protagonist through the written word. After the film's premiere, the producers are said to be working on a Hindi and English comic book series based on the quick-witted protagonist.

Speaking about it, a source told Mid Day that Divyang and co-producer Maneesh Sharma have developed a bright, sharp-witted, underdog hero in Jayeshbhai Jordaar. The more Aditya looked at the material, the more convinced he became that the main character had to stay in power. Jayeshbhai, he believes, can appeal to a broad audience, particularly children. As a result, they're intending to make it into a comic book series.

The Gujarat-based character's travels will be chronicled in the series, as well as the valuable lessons he learns from them. As the film, which also stars Shalini Pandey of Arjun Reddy (2017) fame, prepares for a May 13 release, the producers are reportedly exploring turning it into a franchise.

Meanwhile, talking about the marketing campaign for the upcoming film, a source had earlier said that Jayeshbhai Jordaar's marketing campaign will see Ranveer redefine the star-fan dynamics as he will offer individuals who admire him access like never before.

Following the pandemic, YRF wants to reach out and bring fans closer to their favourite celebrities, and the YRF50 celebrations will do just that! It will be thrilling to see our country's biggest stars reaching out to fans and luring them back to the movies after the pandemic, which has put a stop to how the fan-star relationship has always been viewed. The goal is to get people to appreciate and celebrate Hindi cinema and its stars anew, and the YRF50 celebrations will do just that.
