Ranveer Singh is gearing up to make his play in the big leagues it seems, as the star will join an array of celebrities as a part of this year’s NBA (short for North America’s National Basketball Association) All-Star Celebrity Game. The Bollywood star will be joined by celebrities such as musician, Machine Gun Kelly and Hollywood actress, Tiffany Haddish at the event, which will be held at Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

The actor took to his official Instagram handle to express his elation at the news, sharing a photograph of the official roster with his name on it.

In a Q and A session on social media, the actor had also mentioned how he should get started on preparing for the game, lest, he gets humiliated when the game day arrives.

The roster for this year’s edition of the annual games had been announced by ESPN (Entertainment and Sports Programming Network) and the NBA recently. The two teams at this year’s games will be coached by former basketball players, Bill Walton and Dominique Wilkins, with Ranveer being on Walton’s team along with Kelly.

Ranveer had been declared as the brand ambassador for NBA India, last year in September. In a statement, the actor had talked about his love for the sport and the NBA, and said that he has been fascinated by the huge influence they have had on pop culture, since he was a child.

In addition to Ranveer, some of the other celebrities participating in this year’s games include Anjali Ranadivé, Kane Brown, Jack Harlow and Quavo, among others.

The NBA All-Star Celebrity Game will be available to stream on Voot Select on February 19 live at 5:50 AM. It can also be watched on Vh1 India & MTV.
