Ranveer Singh’s next is an action project with Pa Ranjith? Here’s everything we know

Ranveer Singh is currently awaiting the release of his next, Baiju Bawra. The Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial is touted to be a game-changer for him. The actor will also be seen in an extended cameo in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, co-starring Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor and Tiger Shroff. Ranveer has also been roped in to play the new don in Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3. Now it appears that the actor is in talks with Pa. Ranjith for his next.

What we hear

Ranveer is in talks with Ranjinikanth’s Kaala and Kabali director Pa. Ranjith for Birsa Munda biopic, according to a report on PeepingMoon. They are reportedly in talks for the project since the past few months and Ranveer has shown interest in the same but there is still no concrete update on the same. The movie will be based on the tribal freedom fighter Birsa Munda from the 19th century. He was one of the main men to stand up against the British colonial oppressors. Pa. Ranjith was working on the project for two years and he hopes to take it on floors by the end of 2024.

Ranveer’s next releases

Last seen in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani, Ranveer will be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again next. For the same, he will reprise his role of Simmba. After that, he will be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Baiju Bawra. The actor has also been signed in for Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3. Kiara Advani will reportedly play the female lead in the film. The movie will go on floors in September this year.

There were reports that Ranveer has been signed to play Shaktimaan on the big screen. The film is likely to go on floors from September 2025. Apart from that, there’s news that Ranveer is in talks with URI director Aditya Dhar for a movie which is expected to go on floors in two months.
