RAPO22 makers unveil new poster ft. Ram Pothineni and Bhagyashri Borse

On the occasion of the New Year, the makers of RAPO22 unveiled a new poster featuring actor Ram Pothineni and introduced Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead of the film. The film is helmed by Mahesh Babu P, and backed by Pushpa makers Mythri Movie Makers banner.

With the New Year upon us, Telugu cinema which had a fantastic run last year, is all confident to make 2025 loaded with more films. In line with that, the makers of actor Ram Pothineni’s next unveiled a special poster on Wednesday, which introduces Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead. The actor was last seen in Mr Bachchan, opposite actor Ravi Teja.

The film is being produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers. In the poster, Bhagyashri Borse is named Mahalaxmi and the same is communicated through this special poster. We also get a cherishing glimpse of Ram, who appears to be playing a college boy in the film. The film is helmed by director Mahesh Babu and is touted to be a romantic drama.

What else do we know about RAPO 22?

As for the shooting update, the first schedule has been wrapped up. The technical crew consists of music composed by Vivek-Mervin duo. Avinash Kolla is the production designer while Sreekar Prasad is the editor. Madhu Neelakandan is operating the camera. Cherry is running the executive operations.

RAPO 22 is being made on a budget of ₹70 crore. The movie is slated for release in the second half of 2025. However, a release date is yet to be announced by the makers. Meanwhile, Ram Pothineni was last seen in Double iSmart, which opened to negative reception and reviews. With RAPO22 creating a buzz, it is expected to pave the way for Ram Pothineni back to successful form.
