Raqesh Bapat to play 26/11 hero Ashok Kamte in Fearless Tiger; series’ trailer out now

Raqesh Bapat is set to don the khaki for EORTV's upcoming series Fearless Tiger. The actor will essay the role of late ACP Ashok Kamte, a police officer who was martyred in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. The makers recently unveiled the trailer of the upcoming series.

The trailer shows how dedicated Ashok is to his profession, making sure that it takes precedence above all else, including his personal life. We see the policeman go through some dangerous moments as he tries to bring criminals to justice. But his biggest challenge yet comes during the 2008 Mumbai Terror attacks, as the policeman lays his life on the line to protect his country.

“The series will encapsulate the life journey of a Ideal son, brother, husband, father and very protective warrior of his nation”, reads the synopsis from the show’s trailer.

In addition to Raqesh, the series also stars Keerti Nagpure as the female lead. In a statement, Keerti spoke of how it was an honour to be part of a series that pays tribute to one of the martyrs of the 26/11 attack in Mumbai. “The story is sensitive and heart touching, it definitely will hit the right chords and instil a sense of patriotism", she said.

The upcoming series is directed Deepak Pandey. Calling the show a ‘passion project’, the director talked about how the whole team behind the series clearly saw and felt the love and spirit for the subject. “We have tried our best to showcase the journey of ACP Ashok Kamte not just as a martyr but as a human- as a son, a brother, a husband...", he said. The series has been produced under the banner of Dreamzz Images Studio.

Fearless Tiger will be available to stream on EORTV App from August 15 onwards.
