Rashmika Mandanna, even though has not worked in a single Bollywood film yet, enjoys a massive fan following across India.

At the recent press conference, Rashmika Mandanna was asked about her upcoming Bollywood release Goodbye and how did the idea of accepting the script come into being. To which, she replied saying, "I got the script during the first lockdown when we thought it was going to last for 15 days but ended up lasting for eight months. When I got the script, I finished it in one and a half hours and found it beyond beautiful. Also, I receive a lot of love from my fans wherever I go and every time I would come to Mumbai, I would get asked why was I not doing Bollywood films or when will I do one. That's when the thought of 'working in Bollywood' came to my mind. My fans kept asking me to work in Bollywood and I accepted the offer for them. And, the script was so beautiful that I just had to do it," Rashmika told the media.

When we asked her during the course of the media interaction as to what are the things she feels she is missing out on in life—considering her Bollywood launchpad is about lost chances with loved ones—Rashmika Mandanna surprised us all by stating that in the last five years, she has no recollection of making memories with her family.

"I think the things that I am missing the most out on in life is the quality time I could have spent with my family and loved ones. Ever since I became an actor, in the last five years, I have made no memories with my family.I am always working and have not managed to enjoy the simple joys of life. My sister, who was just a little girl (shows through hand gestures) has now grown big and i have no idea when did this natural transition come about. I am missing out on a lot of family time. Rashmika before Goodbye and Rashmika after Goodbye are two different people. I now call my family to check on them and that change has come in me because of this film," Rashmika told us.

Directed by Vikas Behl, Goodbye features Amitabh Bachchan, Rashmika Mandanna, Shivin Narang, Neena Gupta, Ashish Vidyarthi, Sunil Grover and Pavail Gulati in pivotal roles, and is all set to release in theatres on October 7, 2022.
